Kinetics Shield Ceramic Base in Clear is a professional-grade builder base designed for serious wear. Its firm, gel-like structure holds its shape for the entire wear time, up to 28 days, without cracking, even on long or soft nails. Extensions up to 2 mm are achievable with this one versatile product.

The thick, self-leveling formula does not drip or run into cuticles, giving you full control over the nail shape. The result is a flawlessly smooth surface, ready for color or a finished natural look. The HEMA-free formula is less likely to cause skin itching and redness, making it a refined choice for sensitive clients. It cures in LED, UV/LED, and UV lamps.

How to Apply

Prepare the nail surface and apply a thin layer of Shield™ Ceramic Base. Cure for 60 seconds in LED or UV/LED lamp.
Proceed with a thicker layer application to create a nail apex. Cure in the lamp.
Finish with application of Shield™ top coat of your choice.
Pro tip: If you already know that you will be changing the color for the next application, apply a thin layer of Shield™ Rubber Base before application of Shield™ Ceramic Base, and cure in the lamp. It will allow you to change the color without completely removing the product from the natural nail.
Removal: File it off until complete removal. Alternatively, file off the majority of material, then soak-off in acetone remover, such as Red Lizard, until complete removal.
