Kinetics Shield™ Fiber Base is a professional-grade gel base coat built for thin and delicate nails. Nylon fibers woven into the formula reinforce the nail plate, while a flexible rubber structure keeps the finish comfortable and chip-resistant through up to 28 days of wear. The medium-thick consistency applies smoothly and evenly, and the wide-neck bottle gives you confident, precise control from the first stroke.
The HEMA-free formula reduces the risk of skin itching, redness, and peeling often associated with traditional gel bases. Shield™ Fiber Base cures under LED, UV/LED, and UV lamps, and is used exclusively with a builder application technique. It is available in six nude shades matched across the Shield™ Ceramic Base, Classic Gel, and Jelly Gel lines.
How to Apply
- Prepare the nail, apply Dehydrator and Bonder.
- Apply a thin layer of Shield™ Rubber Base, cure for 30s.
- Apply a thin layer of Shield™ Fiber Base on all nails. Cure for 60 seconds.
- Apply a builder layer and cure nail by nail for 30s. Then, cure both hands for 60 seconds.
- Finish with Shield™ Top of your choice, cure for 60s.
- To remove, soak off or use a drilling machine. Soak-off: sanitize hands, use a 120/180 grit file to remove the top coat until the shine is completely gone, soak a wipe in Polish Remover Red Lizard and wrap it in foil on each nail, leave it to soak off for 15 minutes, remove the foil, use a cuticle pusher to remove excess product from the nail, then buff and shape the nail. Drill removal: sanitize hands, use a drilling machine to remove 90% of the material, check to ensure there are no remaining pockets, then proceed with soak off or refill.
