Just Lanai-img Around is a pretty mauve polish laced with a small amount of silver microshimmer. It was released as part of OPI's Hawaii collection. It, like the other colours in this collection, has a great formula. Two easy coats was all I needed to reach full opacity. It applies easily, didn't run and didn't apply with streaks or patches. It dried quickly and to a shiny finish. Once dry, it was clear that the shimmer was not prominent on the nail than in the bottle particularly in brighter lighting. However, it is still a subtle shimmer, it's not a blingy polish at all. In fact, it almost is quite an old fashioned shade. It had good staying power lasting around 5 days on the nail when paired with base and top coat. This, for me, is the standard wear time for OPIs. This is a great colour to wear in the work place, or for other more conservative environments. All up, this is a nice, classic shade with a bit of a shimmery twist and a really good formula.
Muted, dusty, pink leaning mauve creme with very subtle frosty micro shimmer. The picture above is a great representative of how it looks on the nail. Very flattering, ladylike. Great for any occasion or time of year, winter, too. Is similar in color to Not So Bora Boring Pink in the bottle, but you can see the difference on the nail. Even though it's flattering, I still see 1980s whenever I use it, and maybe it skates close to grandma territory. I kinda forgive it for that. (Not a fan of grandma colors). Somehow I'm drawn to it though. I've gone through half of my bottle already, and that's saying a lot. I don't like mauve at all, but love this color on my nails. If you like pink, it's unique, and maybe worth tracking down. If pinks are hard to wear, this may look great on you.
LOVE this polish! It's a cross between mauve and berry, and so pretty. Flattering shade and great pigmentation. Lovely color for Fall or any time. Definitely in my top 5 favorite polishes ever. Formula applies smoothly, opaque in two coats, and dries to a nice shiny finish. Highly recommend!
This is a nice mauve rose pink polish. Perfect for those days when spring is officially here but winter is still hanging around. It's a muted colour, similar to a few mauve lipsticks I own, for me it's a nice work appropriate colour. Not too bright, a bit classic and being a cream finish, a modern twist on mauve. The polish promises a bit of shimmer in the bottle but it is a cream on the nails. Formula was good, nearly opaque in one coat and perfect in two. The formula was a little runny so I had to be careful to wipe off 3/4 of the brush inside the neck of my polish to get a nice easy and neat application. Great polish, great wear time, definitely recommend
This is a shade from the 2015 Hawaii Collection (Spring). It is a medium mauve cream polish. In comparison with many Indie and newer colors, this is not a bombshell, but it is a pretty shade and office-appropriate in most workplaces, without being completely boring. It applies smoothly, and dries to a nice shine. Two coats seem best, as it's not entirely opaque with one. It wears okay. I found I had a good deal of tip wear after a few days on my right (favored) hand, but I was not babying my hands and didn't keep up with top coats either. I prefer squatter bottles for polish, so that my brush can get close to the last drop, that's why I'm rating packaging on the low side. Also, I might buy this shade again, but have so many polishes at this point that I'm not in need of any one special shade.
