Sailing & Nailing is a bright shade of baby blue with a creme formula released by OPI as part of their Retro Summer collection. The formula is great for a pastel shade such as this full opacity is reached in two coats. The formula was a lovely consistency. The first coat applies with a lot of streaks but the second coat levels everything out. It isn't too runny or difficult to handle. Only a light hand is needed when applying due to the self-levelling nature of the polish. It dried quickly though wasn't particularly shiny without adding top coat. It lasted around 5 days before chipping. This is a great shade to add to your collection, it truly is a gorgeous shade of blue which would suit all complexions and skin tones. I love this polish and will be reaching for it in the Spring and Summer seasons.

I got this polish before "I Believe in Manicures" came out, so skipped that one when it came around. They are very close from what I hear.I wore Sailing & Nailing last summer and got several compliments on my "turquoise" nails. It's light but also pretty stand-out, which has a nice effect. However, I would not call this turquoise, it is much more of a summery light blue.I do recommend it and I would re-purchase, but one lippie was taken off for 3-coats-streaky-unfun application. It does eventually become opaque.

As summer approaches I try to do some fun colors for my pedicures and this month I bought Sailing and Nailing a blue cream by OPI. The color is a bright blue cream that has a cheerful summery feel to it. The formula was very good. I used CND Stickey base coat and two coats of polish and had no visible nail line. What I like best about the polish is that it's appropriate for my age group, but still fun and on trend. Now if only finding a swimsuit were as easy!
