Orly Prelude to a Kiss is a pale peachy cream with quick, easy, streak-free application. I was truly blown away by the formula. Most pastels are super streaky-not this one!First coat: Looks very much like Essie Ballet Slippers. You could stop here if that's the look you're going for.Second coat: Becomes opaque and peachy-white. Two coats gets you out the door satisfactorily. The photo above is two coats. Third coat: A little more intense than two coats in terms of color. The warm peachy tone is slightly more apparent. My only complaint is that I wish it had a more cool pink undertone. The warm/yellow undertone isn't as universally flattering. It leans more cream than pink. I may purchase China Glaze Pink of Me next, which is a bit more pink of course. The color is kind of similar to Essie's Spool Me Over, which is more pink/peachy but tragically has a terrible, streaky formula that never dries. However, Orly's Prelude to a Kiss beats Essie's Spool Me Over to a pulp in terms of application, durability and dry time.
