The most gorgeous nail polish ever.

The most gorgeous nail polish ever. Mine looks like a pearly, very light blue.

Oh My Majesty is a limited edition polish released as part of OPI's Alice Through The Looking Glass collection. It is a pretty shade of nail polish white with iridescent pink shimmer. It looks very much like a pearl or, as another reviewer said, the inside of a seashell. It is a very elegant, classy shade. It is delicate and subtle suitable for work or other conservative environments. It takes 3 coats to reach opacity but has a good formula, not streaky or patchy. It dries quickly and to a shiny finish, and lasts for 5 days when paired with base and topcoat. It looks great against my skin when I have a bit of a tan, but I think it is neutral enough to flatter most skin tones. I like this a lot and can recommend it to anyone needing a neutral polish with a bit of a twist.

Oh My Majesty! is from OPI's Through The Looking Glass 2016 Collection.

Oh My Majesty! is from OPI's Through The Looking Glass 2016 Collection. It's an iridescent white polish, which looks like a pearl on the nail. The formula lets it down, as it is streaky. I used 3 coats, which gave me an almost perfect coverage. I guess, you could apply it over white polish to minimise the number of coats, but bearing in mind that it is difficult to find one-coat white polish, you are likely to end up with the same amount of coats either way. This polish is very pretty on the nail and it is an unusual white, hence why I would repurchase it. I wouldn't normally wear white by itself, as it doesn't suit my skin tone. I would only use this polish as a base for stamping and as such I can get away with slightly streaky application. There is a new China Glaze polish out, called Snow Way, which is supposed to be very similar (haven't tried it yet, so can't comment on how the quality compares).

Alice in Wonderland, Through the Looking Glass 2016 Brights collectionHere's a reference against Let Me Bayou a Drink..... the pinks seems to complement each other really well. Full Size ImageTrying to show you the icy blue and pinkish iridescence doing my best to capture it, but it's tricky! It's there, just look at the edges of the bottle, and hopefully you can see it. The towel is off-white, btw.Full Size Image*** Updates: Next application I'll try 1 or 2 light coats, and see if I like it better. Even pretty soft shades can look tacky with too many coats, so maybe that's the key. **** 5-31-16: Slightly patchy at 2 coats. 3 is best.**** 6-22-16: third time to wear the polish, and notice it is awesome with a summer tan (wow I look really tan today with this polish), but may be chip-prone.**** 2-13-17: Diluted with Seche Restore to make polish more like a fluffy soft shade (like my beloved Altar Ego)Bright white opaque base, with icy blue and rose gold (pinkish?) iridescence, and a soft shimmer. It can look stark at times, but warms up with natural light, and really softens outside, especially in the sun. Some angles, you see solid icy blue, others solid white, and others you'll see all colors I described above. Interesting, futuristic, and unusual. Pictures don't do justice.Formula is ok I guess. I wish it was a soft shade that layers nicely. I don't remember why I didn't stop at 2 coats... Maybe it was patchy or I was more curious to see the depth of the color, or maybe both reasons. I used 3 coats for opacity. It was a little runny, so be careful about flooding. Since it's a bright white, if you do 3 coats, every little inconsistency will show up, so be patient with yourself. What to wear with this statement color could make or break the look. Looks really odd with warm colors, but perfect with cool blue toned colors: stark white, cool grays, blues and greens (especially the lighter shades and the cooler the better). The icy blue in the polish really complements these colors!!! It looks so good and appropriate with the right clothing, so keep that in mind if you're thinking of buying this one.If you like white polish, this will be a fun addition. If you don't like white, just consider it an interesting experiment, or pass on it entirely. It's great with a summer tan, and looks so fresh. What a cool bridal shade this would be! I love the idea of light blue polish, but just never commit to a bottle.... Majesty has the hint of blue, without being overt. I've worn it 3 times already, and I like it more each time. That said, if the bottle broke, I would not replace it. It was an experiment. Fortunately I got it with a buy 2 get 1 free deal, and applied a coupon.

This color is white creme polish with a gorgeous rose gold luster, which is apparent indoors and really comes out in the sunshine. The shimmer is so fine and smooth that it makes this polish look like the inside of sea shell, which I why I call it a "luster." Indoors, the luster gives Oh My Majesty a pinkish glow, in the sunlight it's quite strong, making the rest of the polish look so bright that it has a slight violet undertone. I am a big fan of white polish, and the formula of the polish is pretty good for a white. I painted three coats to paint it opaque, but it looks good with two coats if you like the sheer bridal white look. I've had it on for four days with no chips so far. Normally I change my polish twice a week, but I'm leaving it on for longer because I just love white in warm weather, against my tan. It's so fresh and pretty for summer. If you love white polish as I do, you need this polish. It's completely unique in my collection of white polishes.
